HOMEWORK POSTING ON THE INTERNET
Each High School and Junior High Teacher who assigns homework needs to email their homework for the week to hw@ccvschools.com . By doing so a copy automatically goes to Mr. Sauer so he can place it on the internet and another copy goes to the principal. Parents can view via the internet what their son or daughter should be doing each evening for homework and students who are absent can see what they are missing.
If your weekly homework is the same each week you need only send it once with a mention in the email that this is always your homework. Should it change, please send another such email with the changes.
If you never assign homework, please email notice of that once and that will be posted until further notice from you.
When sending your homework assignments Mr. Sauer copies and pastes your text from the email into your webpage. Any special formatting that you may use in your email will probably be lost when it is pasted into your webpage. So don’t bother with things like bold text, differing font sizes, indentations, colored text, and text in columns. You can separate text with blank lines and you can separate words with a single space but multiple spaces will be automatically reduced to single spaces on the webpage. Also keep in mind that long lines of text may wrap around differently on the webpage than in your email. You needn’t date it as the date will be added. You needn’t put a title on it like “Ms. Jones’ Homework” as that will be added too.
Example:
Tues. page 233 1-6
Weds. study for test
Thurs. test
Mon. page 235 1-7 (show work)
All make up work due at end of week.
