In Mythology, we will be working on the less important myths including King Midas and his golden touch. Read pages 292-300 in your book. Also, this week the class as a group will be writing a short play showing the myth of King Midas and performing it Thursday in class.

In American Literature, we are now in the 21st Century and reading modern authors and their works. The students are reading a book by a modern author as part of their grade. Textbook pages 1019-
